What a turnaround from 6 months ago, !! After 3 recent visits to test out the new management and the new chef, the restaurant can proudly boast it has consistency of excellence . Anup (the master chef) takes pride and care in all meals being served. His trusted customer service manager Aavash has a rare ability; he has actually been trained in customer service!!! He serves you with a willingness to please and takes attentive care to enhance your dining experience Being in a north facing position, right on middle harbour , I believe it has boasting rights that it is indeed awesome value and has excellent food and wine choices for a small suburban café / restaurant , tucked away in Roseville’s only water front venue . The burger chips and salad ( as per the attachment ) was awesome!! . Other dishes like the seafood pasta was equally delectable ! You won’t be disappointed - ~ Greg M
I had a late lunch hear with family today and was very impressed with this beautiful restaurant. The staff where something I noticed straight up when we arrived very attentive . Meals came quiet quick and where very well presented, and flavour was of a chef that shows passion in his work “well done on flavour combinations “. I loved everything that makes this place a restaurant, it’s atmosphere is so pleasant and surroundings are tranquil and captivating. It was good to learn if you want to get down to the restaurant you can park on Normac st and catch the hill cart down to the bottom. Just need to get in and call them, and tell them you up top and they will bring you down . ~ Rooftop E
I had an amazing experience at this place! The location is absolutely beautiful — enjoying a meal while listening to the sound of the waves absolutely amazing. The food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented although there was a bit of wait time but totally worth it. The seafood, in particular, tasted incredibly fresh and well-seasoned. The staff were warm, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. The ambience is relaxed yet elegant, perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. Overall, a fantastic place for great food with a stunning view. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back! ~ Sandy
Had a lovely early brunch here with the family this past weekend. Made a booking for an early brunch and requested for a seat “with a view and in the shade”. Sure enough, our request was granted and we were delighted. The staff were friendly and attentive. They greeted us and were prompt to serve us! The food was delicious and at a great price point for the beautiful outdoor ambience and view. A lovely place for families too. There’s a beautiful park next door with a trail for those who enjoy exploring and short bush walks with harbour views. Would definitely come back for a casual and yet lovely dining experience with friends and family. ~ Claudia J
To Nereda Merrin, I would just like to say no that wasn't how that event happened that day, I was a patron at the restaurant. Who saw everything. You had started with a very bad attitude to the manager/owner. You were treating the lady owner/manager and speaking to her as if she was a slave. You need to have some respect as a person for people who are working their bottoms off and also they were flat out that day. You could see that they were busy as anything, you went to the lady and started ordering her to do things. She did not yell at you I can say that for a fact but all I could see was you abusing this poor lady who was willing to help and you made a huge scene in the place for nothing. I suggest you learn how to speak to people and learn some common courtesy. Other than this atrocious incident it was lovely meal 5 out of 5. And the owner/manager is a lovely and warm person always willing to help. ~ Jay J
A scenic place to enjoy breakfast by the water. A place where you could go for a family outing or catch up with friends. The view is stunning, the service good, the breakfast we had was standard. A marquee setting plus an 'Open air' deck with Umbrellas with reasonably spaced tables. . Could be a challenge for those who are unable to walk down 50+ steps. There is half-cage type lift, but is on self-operated and unless prior arrangements are made (contact the staff via mobile) it would be a challenge walking down the steps. Will I revist? Yes indeed. ~ Des D
Excellent menu, mostly with a seafood theme but red meat and vegan also availanle, good prices. Attentive service but not intrusive. Weekday lunch in winter was quite busy so best to book. Fantastic setting right next to the marina. Many steep steps from car park - maybe 100 steps so able bodied and fit people only. They do have a small rail you could probably use, we only saw staff use it though. Had the special beef burger and it was excellent tasty, included bacon and beetroot, good amount of lettuce and tomato very fresh bun meat patty home made light and tasty. ~ Michael S
My family and I have enjoyed breakfast and lunches here on many occasions over the past several years. The food is always of a high standard and the restaurant owners will do everything in their power to make sure that we have an enjoyable experience. Sometimes parking can be difficult but there's always plenty of extra parking on Babbage Road which is only a short walk through Echo Point Park into the restaurant. I recommend Echo's to anyone looking for a lazy long lunch (or breakfast) by the water. ~ Steve W
Dining here was an unforgettable experience! The restaurant is right by the ocean, offering stunning views of the sea and sunset. Every dish was crafted with care—the seafood was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What impressed me most was the service: attentive, genuine, and always with a smile. Whether it’s for a romantic evening, a family gathering, or a joyful time with friends, this place makes every moment feel special. I’ll definitely be back! ~ LILI M
Echo on the Marina in Sydney’s North Shore 🛳️✨ This waterfront restaurant is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, offering a sense of calm and relaxation. The dishes are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making every meal feel like a little celebration. It’s the perfect spot for weekend gatherings with family and friends — combining great food, breathtaking views, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again. 🍷🍴 ~ Layla
A lovely café with a welcoming atmosphere and great attention to detail. The coffee was smooth and perfectly brewed, and the food was fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better with their warm service. A perfect spot for catching up with friends, a relaxed meeting, or simply enjoying a quality coffee. Highly recommended will definitely be back! ~ Bishal S
Despite coming early to a booking, there was a table waiting for us right there. I’m going to share some exclusives in this restaurant. 1. Great anticipation into making the food. 2. Responses to Reasonable Requests. The kids spaghetti was delicious, the Atlantic Salmon was a delight (as it mentions) and the Lamb Ragu (pasta) was a delicious meal filled with joy. And, the only way to get here is to drive a car (or walk, if you are close). ~ WY W
Lovely restaurant to dine at with peaceful waterfront dining. Plenty of outdoor seating and dog friendly. Food was also quite delicious and flavourful. Ordered - - Grilled Calamari ($21) explosion of flavour and very tender 👌🏻 - Angus Sirloin Steak ($39) tender and crispy chips 👌🏻 - Homemade Pappardelle Lamb Ragu ($33) succulent lamb and hearty pieces 👍 - Market Veggies ($10) 👌🏻 - Sticky Date Pudding ($14) 👍 - Apple Rhubarb Crumble ($14) 👌🏻 ~ Anita T
Such a beautiful spot for brunch! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour – every dish was well presented and cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming. On top of that, the café offers a stunning view that makes the whole dining experience extra special. Whether you’re after a relaxing weekend brunch or a casual catch-up with friends, this is definitely a place worth visiting. Highly recommend! ~ Sang T
How lovely restaurant it is! Locating in a leafy nook of North Sydney. Visited there thinking prices will be sky high pricey for this stunning view and athmosphere. However, prices were very decent. Our dining experience was five out of five. I ve just been telling my all acquaintances we should all go one day as the view gives you heavenly feeling while enjoying tasty foods and coffee. Glad that they have many choices of boozes 😜😜 ~ Duurenjargal T
The food is pretty standard bistro fare of passable quality but this place shines for its beautiful location & super friendly, attentive service. The servers are constantly looking to help you at all times - something you don’t always get in restaurants twice the price. It also has an inclinator for older folks to get up & down and avoid the stairs which is handy (& scenic!). Will be back for sure..:) ~ Mark T
Stunning spot with incredible views and a relaxing waterfront vibe! The food is fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, with seafood and modern dishes that impress every time. Service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere makes it perfect for a casual meal, date night, or special occasion. Definitely a top choice for dining by the water. ~ Renee
I took my mother and my wife here for lunch, today, and I can honestly say, without a doubt, that we've had a lovely lunch. First of all, the scenery was beautiful, overlooking the marina. The service was exceptional, and the food was lovely. Anyone who is looking for a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere, with good food, I can highly recommend this restaurant. Mark ~ Mark A
What a beautiful tucked away place to get together with family and friends. Echo Point is such a quiet tranquil location. The (short) local walking trail is charming, and whether you do it before or after dining, it is definitely worth doing. The Echo on the Marina staff are friendly, courteous, and efficient. The food is excellent. For sure, this is one of Sydney Harbours hidden gems. ~ Bill R
The chefs and the serving staff were incredibly kind — I was truly touched by their hospitality. There wasn’t a nappy changing area, but they kindly made space for us, which I deeply appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious — the prawn pasta and the omelette were especially amazing. The place itself is beautiful, quiet, and feels like a hidden gem. ~ Ha N
Food was great, the main waiter was a nice guy- attentive, yet not overbearing, and was a good laugh. Stairs to get there are manageable going down, but after lunch an effort going up! However they do have a handy lift car thing for those that need it. Great spot to take out of towners as it shows Sydney has these little nook and cranny places that are awesome. ~ Simon
Echo on the Marina is a beautiful location for brunch or lunch over the weekend. Close to home, yet you feel miles away, situated over-looking the Roseville Marina. The management and staff are very friendly with superb service and great food! Take a ride up the convey belt back up to your car! The manager was very kind in assisting us in using the lift to the top. ~ Tania S
Great service, great food, beautiful views of the marina. The waitress is helpful. I had the same waitress both times I've been and she has a wonderful smile and great attitude. She loves being there and is quick to make good recommendations of menu items when requested. The only thing is it on the pricey side especially if you go at lunch time rather than breakfast. ~ Megan G
Great food with amazing views. The drive to this place is beautiful. We tried their Wagyu Steak and Grilled Salmon, both were amazing. Followed by date pudding, which was also really good. You can enjoy the lakeside views, and can also go for a short hike next to the restaurant which leads to a beautiful park inside a small hill next to it. ~ Ali S
